On January 27th, CPC joined Council Member Sandy Nurse, the New York Immigration Coalition, and partner organizations to rally for the funding of immigrant services. Caroline Scown, Civic Engagement and Training Manager, urged the Mayor and City Council to increase funding for adult literacy services.

"Our students need English classes to help them find better jobs, support their children, and navigate everyday life. Only by expanding adult literacy funding can we give our community members the resources they need to thrive," said Scown.
