CPC Calls on Governor and Legislative Leaders to Reform Home Care

CPC continues its advocacy on home care reform by calling on New York State Governor Hochul, Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, and Assembly Speaker Heastie to end 24-hour shifts and raise home care worker wages.

CPC Quoted in Washington Post on Our City, Our Vote

CPC staff member and former Adult Literacy participant Jinquan Zhang was quoted in an article in the Washington Post about new city council legislation that would give immigrants who are not U.S. citizens the right to vote for mayor and other key municipal positions. On December 9th, CPC was proud to stand with The New York Immigrantion Coalition, United Neighborhood Houses, allies, and Council Members to call for #OurCityOurVote #Intro1867 to come to a vote.
