On May 15th, CPC Chief Policy and Public Affairs Officer Carlyn Cowen emceed the NYC Against Hate rally at City Hall to denounce the white supremacist attack in Buffalo and to call for more resources to prevent hate and violence. Ten black people were killed and three other people were injured at the Tops Supermarket in the East Side neighborhood of Buffalo, New York.

CPC stands against racism and hate in all forms and mourns the loss of life and trauma inflicted on the black community.

We thank allies and legislators for the partnership in standing against racism and hate.
