On June 13th, CPC Open Door Senior Center partnered with the Sara Roosevelt Park Community Coalition to host a poetry and drama workshop, connecting individuals from different age groups through shared experiences and creative expression. The event welcomed 10 students aged 12-14, accompanied by their teachers from Avenues School. The students participated in meaningful conversations with older adults in Mandarin and engaged in a guessing game, where they conveyed messages through body language and facial expressions.

CPC Open Door Senior Center continues to provide enriching opportunities for intergenerational interactions, promoting a sense of belonging and unity within the community.
