CPC and CPCHAP Welcome New Board Members
New York, NY – The Chinese-American Planning Council Inc. (CPC) is pleased to announce the election of Christopher Kuo to its Board of Directors and Lena Chang to the Board of Directors of its subsidiary, CPC Home Attendant Program Inc. (CPCHAP).
Christopher Kuo is a Director at Citigroup, where he runs the LATAM Exotics and Structured Credit business. Previously, he was a Director at Credit Suisse, where he was the head of LATAM Structured Credit Trading. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he spends much of his time serving nonprofit organizations through board leadership and the Two Piano Journey project, where he performs benefit concerts with his mother, Michelle Chen Kuo, to raise money for social service organizations. Christopher founded the CPC Leadership Council and has served as its co-chair since 2020.
"I am incredibly excited to embark on this new chapter of serving the Chinese-American Planning Council. This is an incredible organization that has served so many immigrant and low-income families in New York City. I look forward to working with the staff and board colleagues to continue CPC's growth trajectory," said Christopher.
Lena Chang has been the Clinical Program Director for Cardiovascular Services at Mount Sinai Downtown Hospitals since 2016. She began her nursing career in 1994 and became a nurse practitioner in 1998. She has also serves as co-chair of both the Mount Sinai Downtown Diversity Council and the Mount Sinai System Heart Diversity Councils, for which she has won first and second place Global ERG awards for her work in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community and the community at large. Lena has been part of the CPC Leadership Council since 2020.
“I am truly honored to be elected to the CPCHAP Board and hope that my clinical healthcare and operational expertise will contribute to its mission, providing care and resources to over 3,000 patients,” said Lena.
