CPC And Essex Market Partner To Organize Weekly Healthy Cooking Classes

This is the first year CPC Childhood Development Services has partnered with Essex Market since the pandemic. The goal of this collaboration is to provide families access and exposure to locally sourced food within our community. Preparing healthy recipes with unfamiliar ingredients, like beets or goat cheese, this experience became nourishing for both the taste buds and tummies alike. Originally conceived as a month long series, the program has since added three more classes!

One parent came back the following week, eagerly sharing how much her sons enjoyed the new recipe she prepared, and expressing her excitement to learn more. This experience has allowed families to connect with the market in hope that they continue to support the local shops that can be found within Essex Street Market.
