Beacon Community Center Students Celebrate Lunar New Year with Creative Arts 

On February 13th, CPC Beacon Community Center at John J. Pershing Intermediate School 220 hosted a Lunar New Year celebration for students, where they enjoyed delicious food and spent meaningful time with friends and family. From origami designs to arts and crafts and 3D figures representing Lunar New Year traditions, students celebrated culture through their hands and imagination.
