CPC and CPCHAP Join Home Care Workers and Lawmakers in Albany to Advocate for Home Care Workers

On March 9th, CPC, our subsidiary CPCHAP, and home care workers joined 1199SEIU at the New York State Capitol for their home care advocacy day, alongside elected officials including State Senator Gustavo Rivera. The team met with elected officials, advocate for the #JustPay campaign for human services workers and #FairPay4HomeCare, and urged state leaders to improve wages and working conditions for the essential workers who support New York’s most vulnerable communities.
