CPCHAP Welcomes Chief Operating Officer, John Sullivan
On June 27 2018, the Chinese-American Planning Council Home Attendant Program, Inc. (CPCHAP), a subsidiary of the Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. (CPC), is excited to announce that John Sullivan has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, John will oversee all strategic planning, business operations, human resources, and compliance functions for CPCHAP.
John has over 37 years of experience in the home care sector. Most recently, John was the Program Director of People Care Incorporated. He joined People Care in 1995 and was responsible for overseeing administrative staff, negotiating contracts, expanding services to other counties, and ensuring performance improvement and corporate compliance. Prior to People Care, John worked at the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) as a Project Manager for Home Care Services from 1981 to 1995. He graduated with a MBA in Finance from Long Island University and a BS in Business Administration, Marketing, from Marist College.

Licensed in 1998 by the NYS Department of Health as a home care service agency, the Chinese-American Planning Council Home Attendant Program, Inc. (CPCHAP) is one of the largest nonprofit home care service agencies in New York City. CPCHAP aims to provide culturally competent, individualized quality home care services by promoting independence, dignity, comfort and compassionate care for clients and ensuring a safe, respectful and dignified working environment for home care employees and staff. CPCHAP serves about 3,000 home care recipients and employs over 4,000 employees throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
