CPC Organizes Alumni Reunion and Honors Class of 2024 

On June 29th, CPC hosted a celebratory ceremony at CPC One for high school and college students from the Class of 2024. We recognized 11 Education and Career Services Scholarship winners. The gathering also served as a reunion for CPC Learn & Earn alumni to encourage connections and celebrate shared experiences.

CPC Statement on Home Care Workers' Call to End 24-Hour Shifts and Make Two 12-Hour Split Shifts Universal

CPC and our subsidiary, CPC Home Attendant Program (CPCHAP), are in full support of home care workers in their call to end 24-hour shifts and to make two 12-hour split shifts universal. Unfortunately, 24-hour shifts are mandated by State law and determined by insurance companies. Like all home care agencies, CPCHAP does not have the power to split 24-hour shifts on our own. Aging Committee Chair Assembly Member Ron Kim recently acknowledged that health insurance companies determine split shifts, not home care agencies. 

CPC Joins and Moderates Panel at AAPI LEAD Summit

From June 19th - 21th, CPC joined the Asian Pacific American Leadership Foundation's AAPI LEAD (Leaders Elected Appointed) Summit in Las Vegas. More than 300 guests attended this first national conference for AAPI elected and appointed officials. Wayne Ho, CPC's President and CEO, moderated a panel on “Policies and Governance in an Age of Rising Hate and Misunderstanding” that covered policy challenges aimed to mitigate rising sentiments of discrimination, racism, harassment, violence and inequality against people of color and/or religion and approach how to combat hate.

Little Star and Chung Pak Centers Achieve 4-Star Rating

CPC Little Star at Broome Street Early Childhood Center and CPC Chung Pak Early Childhood Center have both earned the prestigious 4-Star Quality Program rating from QUALITYstarsNY, New York State’s Rating and Improvement System for early childhood programs. This accomplishment demonstrates the centers' commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences. Families can trust that these centers positively impact children's growth and development.
