CPC and GrowNYC Partner to Distribute Local Produce to the Community

On August 22nd, CPC partnered with GrowNYC to host a food distribution event for over 250 community members at CPC Brooklyn Community Services. Volunteers from both organizations packed and distributed bags filled with a variety of seasonal offerings, including carrots, apples, tomatoes, and other farm-fresh items.

This initiative has been running every other week since the summer. It addresses food insecurity challenges, especially for older adults, and supports local agriculture.
