CPC's early childhood centers and school-age afterschool programs celebrated fall and Halloween in scary creative ways. The children at Garment Industry Early Childhood Center created their own pumpkin patch right in their classroom. Tribeca Early Childhood Center played games with creepy crawlers and picked mini pumpkins in a spiderweb patch. Chung Pak Early Childhood Center learned about Harvest Day. Children at Jacob Riis Early Childhood Center created their own jack-o-lanterns with paint and glitter.  Little Star Early Childhood Center children went trick or treating around the building. At the Lois Lee Early Childhood Center, children dressed up as their favorite storybook characters to celebrate Halloween.

CPC PS2 COMPASS program celebrated Lights On Afterschool with Halloween-inspired lanterns.

The students of CPC's afterschool program at New Utrecht High School had a pumpkin painting contest. Nearly 1,400 young people participate in CPC's high school programs each year.
