CPC Nan Shan Older Adult Center Celebrates the Year of the Dragon with Dim Sum Brunch

On March 8th, CPC Nan Shan Older Adult Center held a Spring Festival Dim Sum brunch at the Royal Queen restaurant. Over 500 community members, staff, and elected officials came together to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. 

Elected officials in attendance included Assembly Members Braunstein and Ron Kim, Council Member Sandra Ung, Civil Court Judge Cassandra Johnson, and representatives from the offices of Congresswoman Grace Meng, Attorney General Tish James, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Assembly Member Catalina Cruz, and Assembly Member Steven Raga.

Assembly Member Ron Kim commended Nan Shan as one of the city's top older adult centers, emphasizing the urgent need for increased government investment in services to support New York City's growing aging population.
