CPC Partners with Legislative Caucuses and Advocacy Groups to Host Know Your Rights Webinar

On March 13th, CPC partnered with the New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Asian Legislative Caucus, the Asian Pacific American Task Force, the Taskforce on New Americans, Speaker Heastie's office, and the NYS Attorney General's office, to host a Know Your Rights presentation along with African Communities Together and La Colmena. The webinar aimed to educate community members about their rights when interacting with law enforcement and share resources, expert guidance, and legal advice. Since January, CPC has trained over 4,000 individuals on non-local law enforcement and Know Your Rights education.
