On February 23rd, CPC's Chief Policy and Public Affairs Officer, Carlyn Cowen, spoke in support of the Early Voting Act during a press conference led by Representative Dan Goldman. The proposed legislation aims to improve the election process by mandating a minimum 14-day period for in-person early voting for federal elections. It also seeks to enhance accessibility to polling places and mandate the processing and scanning of ballots at least 14 days before Election Day.
