On August 7th, Jessica Hsieh from CPC's Queens Special Needs team was chosen for New York State’s highly selective Leadership Academy for Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, one of only 24 individuals statewide to attend the program.
Hosted by Georgetown University’s National Center for Cultural Competence in partnership with the NY Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), the intensive 2.5-day program equips participants with advocacy and leadership skills to drive systemic improvements in disability services.
