Chorus at CPC Queens Special Needs Holiday Party 2017

On Saturday December 16, 2017, CPC Queens Services for Families with Special Needs hosted a holiday party for the program's families, parents and participants. Over 100 people gathered to celebrate the Holiday season. Special guests that joined our celebration included: Councilman Peter Koo, Mr. Wayne Ho, CEO & President of CPC, Mr. and Mrs. Xian Qing Fu of the Fu Foundation and Mr. Michael Genovese from the Walter Kaner Foundation.

We would like to express special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Fu for bringing in holiday presents to all our participants. We greatly appreciate your kindness and support for improving the quality of life for people with special needs.

During the event, parents and individuals from Family Support and the Respite Program came together to put on a fantastic performance for all in attendance. The ultimate goal of this event was to give our special needs participants many opportunities to learn new skills, be a part of their community, and enjoy themselves with their family. It also provided a great opportunity for parents of special needs individual to network with other, encouraging each other and forming new friendships.

We all know the essence of Christmas and we want our participants feel it in their hearts and spend time with their friends.

Thank you all our dedicated staff and volunteers who helped make this festival event to spread good cheer to everyone.
