On November 7th, City & State New York interviewed Carlyn Cowen, our Chief Policy and Public Affairs Officer, at the Somos Conference in Puerto Rico about the policy initiatives and advocacy efforts focused on immigrant protections in New York following the presidential election. Carlyn emphasized the need for policies that provide housing, food assistance, and more, to ensure all people, regardless of immigration status, can thrive. They reiterated that these priorities will continue to drive CPC’s advocacy efforts as we work to ensure that New York remains a sanctuary state.
