Hepatitis B Screening and Seminar

CPC Brooklyn Community Services along with our partners, NYU Langone Health and CAMS hosted a Hepatitis B seminar and screening today at CPC's Brooklyn Community Center located in Sunset Park on July 31st, 2018. 35 Community members showed up to the seminar and screening event. Hepatitis B is a disease common among Chinese, South American and African immigrants.  The best way to combat this deadly but very treatable disease is early detection. We'd like to thank NYU Langone Health and CAMS for providing screening for our community members today and continuing to provide free health resources for our neighbors. CPC Brooklyn Community Services will continue to work with our partners to ensure that our community members have access to health resources to promote health and wellness.
