Geriatric Mental Health Initiative (GMHI) tours Brooklyn Grange

On October 14, 2022, Brooklyn Community Center Geriatric Mental Health Initiative Program (GMHI) visited the Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm as part of our monthly tea talk series. CPC staff and 20 community members had a chance to learn about and provide feedback on urban farming. Some community members expressed their interest in gardening and shared their success with growing produce at home. Several stated that gardening is very therapeutic for them. 

We are very grateful to Brooklyn Grange for hosting us and providing us with an opportunity to learn more about rooftop gardening!
