On May 7, 2019, CPC Assistant Executive Director, Senior Services Director and Director of CPC Open Door Senior Center, Po-Ling Ng was recognized as a NYS Senate 2019 Woman of Distinction Honoree. Po-Ling was nominated by NYS Senator Brian Kavanagh for her perseverance and pioneering work with CPC and in her personal life. As the first and only director of CPC's Open Door Senior Center, Po-Ling has grown the program from a small corner of CPC's administrative headquarters to a large and robust center in the heart of Chinatown, serving 800 seniors daily.
