Jessica Hsieh, Respite Coordinator of CPC Queens Special Needs, and Mr. Bin Feng, a CPC program participant, were recently featured in a video titled "Candid Conversations: Handing Over The Reins." The video features young individuals with disabilities and their parents sharing their experiences transitioning out of high school in New York. It was produced in partnership with the New York Region 1 Parent Training and Information Center Collaborative, the Community Inclusion & Development Alliance, and the New York Deaf-Blind Collaborative.

During the video, Jessica emphasized the importance of self-advocacy in ensuring a high quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Mr. Bin Feng, a parent himself, stressed the importance of promoting independence through vocational training and leisure activities. Additionally, he recommended seeking guidance from experienced parents who have successfully navigated similar situations.
