CPC’s Adult Literacy Class Visits Manhattan
On December 8th, CPC’s Adult Literacy Class celebrated the holidays by visiting iconic Manhattan landmarks, including the main branch of the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and more. Before their trip, our instructor Nick Furio taught students about various holiday sites and vocabulary. Students were then asked to locate the sights and take selfies with them on their scavenger hunt.
The Adult Literacy Program helps students gain practical, everyday English skills and learn about American Civics, history, and culture. It is open to anyone over the age of 18 in New York City. To enroll in our Adult Literacy program, please call (212) 941-0041 to schedule an English assessment exam that will test your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
