CPC Encourages All to Vote on November 6th

On November 1, 2018, CPC joined elected officials and nonprofit leaders at 32BJ to encourage everyone to vote in the Midterm Elections on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. The Asian American community is the fastest growing community in New York City. Historically, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) have some of the lowest voter turnout rates of all voter groups, even though AAPIs naturalize and are eligible to vote at higher rates than most other immigrant groups. Considering the importance of this election season, the AAPI community should also be the fastest growing group of voters in New York City. Regardless of political affiliation, CPC encourages all eligible voters to participate in the election process on November 6th.
