CPC CEO & Board Responsibilities 101

On January 24, 2018, CPC President & CEO, Wayne Ho, spoke at NYN Media's 2nd Annual Nonprofit BoardCon. Mr. Ho was joined by senior leadership from AHRC New York City, A Blade of Grass, Caplin & Drysdale, and Lamb Financial Group to speak on the first panel of BoardCon - Board Responsibilities 101. 

The Board of Directors sets the plan for the nonprofit organization, examines operations, and acts as public figures for the organization. Board members have multiple responsibilities to fulfill as a volunteer, while balancing other personal and professional responsibilities. The panelists discussed resources Executive Directors can share with their Board Members to balance responsibilities and keep up with the organization's strategic planning.
