Throughout the week of July 4th, Lois C. Lee Early Childhood Center in Queens celebrated the July 4 holiday with a read-aloud of the book, "Apple Pie 4th of July" by Janet S. Wong. In addition, our 3K and 4K students painted fireworks using a fork as a brush.
The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) announced today that the dining hall of the Nan Shan Senior Center in Flushing, Queens, is now named the Maria Poon Memorial Hall. On June 14, 2022, Chinese-American Planning Council partnered with P.S. 94 The Henry Longfellow School to distribute fresh produce to the community. We had an amazing turnout and were able to give out 200 shares of produce.
