CPC’s Soft Skills Program Equips Graduates for Success in the Job Market

CPC Education Career Services team celebrated the graduation of 15 students from the Soft Skills & Job Placement Program, a five-week initiative designed to enhance career readiness. Launched six months ago, the program provides essential skills and personalized instruction in areas such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and resume building. These skills empower students to build confidence in the workplace and prepare for job searches in today’s competitive job market.

The program has two core goals:

1. Empowering Workplace Confidence: We're passionate about helping students develop the communication skills and professional mindset needed to excel. Our approach focuses on practical skills like effective teamwork, problem-solving, and building positive workplace relationships. We ensure every participant feels prepared and self-assured as they step into their professional journey. 

2. Job Search Readiness: We provide comprehensive support in creating compelling resumes, crafting impactful cover letters, mastering interview techniques, and presenting themselves professionally. By the program's end, students are fully equipped to seize new career opportunities with confidence and poise. 

This program is entirely free of charge, with classes offered at flexible locations in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Additionally, every student receives personalized guidance throughout the duration of the program. To be eligible, participants must be 18 years or older and demonstrate a strong commitment (100% attendance) to the program.

Graduates of the program have succeeded in fields like teaching, IT support, and program coordination. Many have also seen improvements in their job performance and personal confidence.

New classes are offered every month. Interested participants can complete a quick questionnaire, and CPC will assist in selecting the best starting date for each person.
