CPC Welcomes Pat Wang to its Board of Directors

Chinese-American Planning Council Welcomes Pat Wang to its Board of Directors

New York, NY  The Chinese-American Planning Council Inc. (CPC) is excited to announce the election of Pat Wang to its Board of Directors.

 

Pat Wang has been the President and CEO of Healthfirst since 2008, overseeing its growth into one of the largest not-for-profit health insurers in the country. Prior to joining Healthfirst, Pat was part of the executive leadership team at the Greater New York Hospital Association where she helped create Healthfirst with a consortium of hospitals and health systems in 1993. In 2023, Pat was appointed to Governor Kathy Hochul’s New York State Commission on the Future of Health Care to address the state’s health challenges. She also served as a member of the Medicaid Redesign Team II as well as co-chair of the State’s Vaccine Equity Taskforce. Pat is a Director of the New York Federal Reserve Bank and plays an active role on the Boards of America’s Health Insurance Plans and the New York Health Plan Association.
