On July 5th, CPC Brooklyn Community Services hosted NY Secretary of State Robert Rodriguez at our Community Center on a conversation on how to best support immigrant communities.
On July 1st, CPC Chrystie Street School-Age Child Care Center arranged a family trip for young participants and their families to the Land of Make Believe, an amusement and water park in New Jersey.
On June 30th, CPC held a banquet, titled "The Queer Feast : An Intergenerational Pride Dinner", at the Project Reach site in Chinatown to celebrate Pride Month.
On June 21-22th, CPC Early Childhood Learning & Wellness staff from the Family Child Care Network (FCCN) and the Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Division visited Long Island for a team-building retreat.
On June 14, 2022, Chinese-American Planning Council partnered with P.S. 94 The Henry Longfellow School to distribute fresh produce to the community. We had an amazing turnout and were able to give out 200 shares of produce.
The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) strongly opposes the United States Supreme Court's 6-3 decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which effectively overturns the Constitutional right to abortion as established in Roe v. Wade nearly 50 years ago.

In observance of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, CPC Brooklyn Senior Services accompanied 40 community members to Prospect Park to visit the green market as well as enjoy a picnic in this historic green space. As part of the trip we discussed Elder Abuse Awareness, resources, and unity.
A CPC youth member Min Aung Zaw recently was honored with a scholarship award from the New York State Power Authority and United Neighborhood Houses as part of the 2022 Future Energy Leaders scholarship fund.
