On September 14th, CPC Community School Program and PS 94, hosted a school block party that brought together hundreds of community members to celebrate the start of the new academic year and welcome students back to school. The block party, which took place on 51st Street between 5th and 6th Avenue in Sunset Park, included free food, raffles, games, a live DJ, art activities, and community resources.

CPC Community School Program offers a range of support services for families at PS 94, including a food pantry, a clothing boutique with gently used items, adult English classes, parent workshops, a daily afterschool program, and a transition program to assist 5th graders moving to middle school.

We aim to provide services that address basic needs such as food insecurity and language support, but also to create an environment for families to experience joy and community together. CPC works closely with the school leadership and PTA to provide programming that can support students and their families in growing and thriving.
