Workforce Readiness Info Sessions with Flushing Mobility Collaborative

The Flushing Mobility Collaborative will hold a summer program for out of school youth ages 17-24 focused on job and career readiness workshops. Each individual will have a support person to access available wraparound resources. Participants can explore their skills and interests to determine what career they want to pursue while accessing resources that will help them complete the program.

Register for the information session on Wednesday, March 30th at 6pm-7pm or Thursday March 31st at 12pm-1pm.

In order to partake in the information sessions, participants must register here. Video conference/Zoom link will be sent after registration.

Registration for the workforce readiness program closes on Wednesday, 4/13 at 11:59pm.

Program Details:

• Workshops are Wednesdays, 4/27 until 7/6 from 4pm-6pm
• Intake is on a rolling basis from Monday,4/4 to Thursday, 4/14
• Additional follow-up for at least three to six months as needed Intake, Orientation, and Workshops will be held at One Flushing (133-29 41st Avenue, 2nd Floor Flushing, NY 11355)

Eligibility:

• Eligible candidates are foreign-born immigrants ages 17-24 who are currently not enrolled in school
• Candidates must have English fluency (will be screened during intake process)
