NYC Council Speaker Candidates Forum

The New York Immigration Coalition and New York State Immigrant Action Fund present a NYC Council Speaker Candidates Forum on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. 

All candidates for NYC Council Speaker will be invited to the forum. 

The Speaker of the NYC Council sets the agenda and presides at meetings of the City Council. Proposed legislation is also submitted through the Speaker's Office. This is an important opportunity to hear what each candidate would like to bring to the Speaker's Office.
