Hospitality Careers Training Program Open House (Manhattan)

October 30, 2014

The Chinese-American Planning Council’s first Hospitality Careers Training Program was held in 1979 and enrolls about 80 students per year in hotel and hospitality careers around New York City. CPC’s Hospitality Training Program is licensed by the NY State Department of Education and is a licensed proprietary school under the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS). Our Hospitality Training Program employs a variety of strategies for student employment in a range of positions, including:
•    Room Attendants
•    Housemen
•    Kitchen Stewards
Students accepted to the program will gain meaningful insight into the ever-changing landscape of the hotel industry as well as receive personalized services from program staff, including assistance with job placement, career counseling, and post-hire follow up and support. Information sessions on the Hospitality Careers Training program and CPC’s Workforce Development Division are held every Monday at 9:30 at 165 Eldridge Street. Enrollment in the program may be free for qualified applicants.
