30-Hour Cohort Training (in Spanish)

These sessions are designed to help fulfill the 30-hour training requirement for initial licensing and renewal. All topics are taught by NYS verified trainers and NYS certified early childhood educators. They include these five topics:

 

•  Business Leadership: Liability, Insurance, and Legal Issues

•  Culture Matters: Supporting Children’s Social & Cultural Development; Thematic Unit and Lesson Planning

•  Thematic Unit and Lesson Planning Child Abuse & Maltreatment; Shaken baby Syndrome; and SIDS Gross Motor Development

•  Culture Matters: Supporting Children’s Social & Cultural Development 

•  PITC: Responsive Care Giving and Interaction in Child Care Program

 

Date and Time

Each topic will be addressed in one training session, for a grand total of five training sessions starting Saturday on July 21st and continuing each Saturday afterwards until August 18th.
