CPC Brooklyn Community Services Hosts 7th Annual Health Fair & Family Day

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 CPC Brooklyn Community Services hosted their 7th Annual Health Fair & Family Day at the Sunset Park Recreation Center. The event brought 35 organizations and community partners, performers and 1,000 members of the community together to share health resources for the community and celebrate healthy living for the whole family. 

The fair featured performances by An's Tae Kwon Do, CPC Senior Services Tai Chi Group and CPC Senior Services Dance Group. The following companies were also recognized at the event for their dedication to community health and wellness: AlphaCare, CTBC Bank, EmblemHealth, Empire BlueCross BlueShield HealthPlus, Goldman Sachs, Healthfirst, MetroPlus Health Plan, RiverSpring Health Plans - A Program of ElderServe Health, Senior Whole Health, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, United Healthcare and Wellcare Health Plans. 

CPC would also like to thank Assistant Speaker Felix Ortiz, Councilman Carlos Menchaca, Congresswoman Nydia Valezquez, Assemblyman Peter Abbate, Assemblyman William Colton, District Leader Nancy Tong, Councilman Mark Treyger's office, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams’ office, District Attorney Kenneth Thompson’s office, Senator Jesse Hamilton’s office and Sunset Park Recreation Center for their support in this community event.
