On August 10th, CPC hosted a graduation ceremony at CPC One to honor 16 community members who recently completed the TEST (Technology Exploration Student Track) program in June and earned their Google certification in Project Management. Out of the 16 graduates, 4 of these graduates have already landed full-time positions in their respective fields.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and effort of the Facilitator, Tiffany Huang. Her commitment to guiding and supporting our community members has been crucial in helping them achieve their goals.

CPC would also like to extend its deepest gratitude to Con Edison for their generous funding support. Their commitment to the community has been instrumental in making the TEST program a reality. With their support, CPC was able to provide community members with the training and resources necessary to achieve their Google certification and advance their careers.

The TEST program is just one of many ways CPC is working to empower the community through education and skill development. As we celebrate these achievements, we look forward to continuing our mission to support and uplift the lives of those we serve.

“Completing the certificate has given me new job opportunities in project management. Coursera content and weekly workshop materials are helpful. I learned knowledge of management and tools of planning and scheduling. I also learned several skills including time management, note-taking, SMART Goals, etc. I did resume and cover letter editing, mock interviews, etc. This program gave me opportunities to learn from different people and work together through slack, email and zoom.” — Muzi Zhang

“[The TEST Program was] Excellent [and] motivated.” — Mahrukh Khan

“I see new job opportunities after finishing this program and I feel so much confidence on applying for program manager positions. I am also feeling better on interviews. The Coursera course gives great content on all perspectives on program like the management tools and working in a team. I learned a lot about new stuff like how to talk with shareholders and engage people in the team to finish a project. I like the risk management approaches from the course, and Angile, Scrum management methods. I met new friends from this program as well.” — Linqing Zhu
