CPC Hosts Press Conference on E-Bike Safety

On July 22nd, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and State Senator Iwen Chu held a press conference on e-bike safety at CPC Brooklyn Community Center. They were joined by Council Member Alexa Avilés, New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Commissioner Laura Kavanaugh and over 25 community leaders.
Most New Yorkers affected by e-bike fires are Asian Americans, people of color, immigrant and lower income communities.CPC looks forward to working with our elected partners and community leaders to ensure safety in our neighborhoods.
