CPC Joins the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies' Anniversary Celebration and State Lobby Day

On January 22nd and 23rd, Wayne Ho, President & CEO of CPC, joined the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies (COFCCA)'s 50th anniversary celebration as their MC and the subsequent State Lobby Day in Albany. Wayne is also a Board Member of COFCCA, which represents over 100 member agencies involved in child welfare, including CPC. 

The event brought together 100 participants, including Senators Zellnor Myrie, Roxanne Persaud, and George Borello and Assemblymembers Andrew Hevesi, Marcela Mitaynes, and Steven Raga attended, along with New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Acting Commissioner Suzanne Miles-Gustave.

The following day, Wayne and approximately 100 advocates met with over 50 state legislators during COFCCA's State Lobby Day. Their focus was on advocating for increased investments in child welfare services and the child welfare workforce as outlined in the #JustPay campaign.
