CPC Promotes Intergenerational Bonding and Socialization with Outing to SEA LIFE Aquarium

On April 21, 2023, CPC Hong Ning Housing and Manhattan's Learn and Earn program organized an outing to SEA LIFE Aquarium at the American Dream Mall. The trip brought together community members from different age groups, including older adults and youth, for a day of fun and bonding. The highlight of the day was a photo scavenger hunt that tested their communication skills and teamwork.

For some of the older adults, it was their first time visiting an aquarium, and they were thrilled to see fish they had never seen before, coral reefs, and even a baby shark swimming above them in the underwater ocean tunnel.

The youth were equally excited to engage with the older adults and learn from them during the outing. They worked closely with the older adults to complete the scavenger hunt, which helped them to develop valuable leadership and communication skills.
