CPC Employment Services Hosts Open House for Census 2020 Jobs

On Friday, September 20th, CPC Education and Career Services (ECS) partnered with representatives from the United States Census Bureau for a hiring event. Around 25 community members participated in the event. They learned about the importance of participating in the Census as well as ways to access employment opportunities in anticipation of next year's Census Day. Community members were also informed of ECS' additional services, which include training programs, career help, free English classes and college counseling. Right after the presentation, staff from the Census Bureau assisted jobseekers with applying for Census jobs onsite.

For anyone who missed the event this time, ECS still has their weekly information sessions for all jobseekers every Monday at 9:30 AM at 165 Eldridge St. There will also be a special information session next Wednesday, 9/25 at 2 PM.
