CPC Brooklyn Community Services 10th Annual Health Fair and Family Day
The hottest day of the year was not enough to keep over 500 community members from participating in CPC Brooklyn's 10th Annual Health Fair and Family Day. Held at the CPC Beacon Community Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, attendees were greeted with a bouncy house, face and body painting, free giveaways, health screenings, fitness demonstrations, dozens of games and a raffle drawing of over $1,000 worth of prizes, including a lucky community member who took home the first prize of a Series 4 Apple Watch. Attendees were also treated to performances by Jeff Zhai, who performed the National Anthem with his electric guitar, CPC’s Tai Chi team, CPC Senior Dance squad, the Beacon Dance team, and Panda King Taekwondo. Our community members were treated to Zumba performance and demonstration from Studio 214. The event was made possible through the work of CPC staff and over 40 volunteers. It was generously supported by 45 sponsors and community partners. Special thanks to Assembly Member Peter Abbate and Senator Zellnor Myrie for supporting and stopping by the event.
