On December 17, 2018, CPC and 41 organizations gathered at the 2018 Cathay Bank Foundation luncheon to celebrate the work that the foundation has supported throughout the year. During 2018, Cathay Bank Foundation granted $445,000 to 41 organizations in New York and New Jersey for community and economic development, education, civic and community engagement, and health and welfare programs.

CPC was awarded $25,000 to support our Queens Services for Families with Special Needs program. Our Queens Services for Families with Special Needs program provides enrichment and support services to 150 individuals with developmental disabilities yearly. "With the generosity of the Cathay Bank Foundation, CPC can further our vision to advance and transform communities. We hope to see people with developmental disabilities experience personal health and growth and fully participate in their communities. Cathay Bank Foundation's support will allow our programs to continue to provide enrichment opportunities for our community members that will have a lasting impact on their lives." said Wayne Ho, President & CEO.
