The Workforce Development Division was created in 1975 in response to an acute need for skilled workers in New York City with the primary mission to provide advanced services, skill upgrades, and employment related resources to individuals who are motivated to advance their careers.  CPC’s education, training, placement, and post placement support service methods are characterized by its highly individualized and goal-oriented approach. 

Lower East Side Employment Network (LESEN)

CPC is a founding partner of the Lower East Side Employment Network (LESEN) - an innovative collaboration of workforce development agencies that work in partnership with Community Board 3 on the Lower East Side to help businesses recruit, hire and retain quality candidates.
