NY Chinatown Older Adult Center Partners with Verizon for Cybersecurity Workshop and Affordable Connectivity Program Enrollment

On November 3rd and 10th, more than 100 older adults at our NY Chinatown Older Adult Center joined a cyber security workshop presented in Cantonese and Mandarin. The workshop, led by Verizon, covered topics including password security and scam awareness. Community members also received one-on-one training and were able to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides a discount on their household's monthly broadband internet service.
