Tony Chong, Program Director for the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) completed the three-month PASE Emerging Leaders in Non-profit Management Course. His capstone project focused on exploring the vital link between development and programmatic teams within non-profit organizations. He will now be part of an alumni network of over 330 Emerging Leaders graduates.

The course was in partnership with the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York. Class sessions provide a theoretical base for understanding issues facing nonprofits, while offering practical ways to improve critical aspects of management, including: strategic planning; financial management; human resources; fundraising; advocacy; board relations; and evaluation, among other topics.
